afraid to look at it too much Street Worm. I havne't seen the movie yet and I don't want this to out right spoil it.

I'll blind scan a page in and send it to you for you to decide. I have some other scanning things to get done today along with a couple of pages from Megadeth's comics for Guitardeth

Very nice, Meg.
And I'm glad to see you got a better comic shop than we do.

Our nearest one has nothing... except for a few comics, anime, and Marvel Legends figures.

Peeker - Not sure of the year, but it was in the 95-97 range, they did some Expanded Universe releases where they relied on the games, comic and novels to get their figures and vehicle ideas. The Speeder bike was from one of the concept drawings when they were starting to come up with ideas for ROTJ. It wasn't the final item as you know, since the bikes weren't really used by the Rebels, nor were they of that style.

They went back and released it along with a concept Cloud Car, and a Air Speeder which were precursors to the 2-car Cloud Car, and the Snow Speeder. Haven't found those yet, but will.

They also went into the Shodows of the Empire as this point to allow them to do some other figures based on some concept of what went on between ESB and ROTJ. It had Leis in the bounty hunter outfit, Chewie as a Bounty Hunter, and the evil characters of Prince Xizor and others here and there. They even had a set where Xizor was squaring off with Darth Vader.

Picture it kind of the 95-97 version of Clone Wars. There were differnt versions of characters and ships, but doesn't flow through the movie universe too well. Although they did have some cool ones like Dash Rendar, Kyle Katarn, and Princes Leia, Jedi Master

I rememebr the SotE figs/ships...and a few of the EU figs (Thrawn, most notably. God, I'd kill for a Thrawn fig), but the vehicles you mentioned are new to me...
wonder how I missed all those.
I was buying a fair bit o'SW stuff in the mid-to-late 90's...

wish I'd hung on to my Xizor fig too.
man, he was a badass

I just checked ebay...seems Thrawn can be had for pretty cheap, which is nice.

Andyman -

The wife was with me and looking as well - she was finding stuff I was missing and holding it up asking "We have this?" If I said, "Nope", she'd ask if I wanted it, and if I said "kinda" it was on the pile.

I will say thought, that I didn't spend anywhere near what they would have been sold for other places - it was chunck of change, but relative to the amount we brought home - it wasn't that much.

Besides, I think she was feeling guilty over me having bought her a new pair of SunGlasses at SunGlass Hut earlier in the day - she needed a new pair - the old ones were past their time.

And it was our anniversary, so we were having fun
